Irony is a development kit for implementing languages on .NET platform. In Irony the target language grammar is coded directly in c# using operator overloading to express grammar constructs. Irony's scanner and parser modules use the grammar encoded as c# class to control the parsing process.

IsExternalInit by: Manuel Römer

A source code only package which allows you to use C# 9's init and record features in older target frameworks like .NET Standard 2.0 or the "old" .NET Framework by providing a polyfill for the IsExternalInit class. This package does not contain any compiled binaries, but instead adds the IsExternalInit class as C# source code to your project. Because this code is compiled together with the rest of your code, the built binaries will not have a dependency on this package, meaning that you can perfectly use it for both libraries and applications. The C# code is only included if you are targeting a framework version which does not support the IsExternalInit class. For example, if you create a library which multi-targets .NET Standard 2.0 and .NET 5.0, the IsExternalInit class is not provided in the .NET 5.0 compilation, because .NET 5.0 already provides support for the class by default. All usages of JetBrains.Annotations attributes are erased from metadata by default, which means no actual binary reference to 'JetBrains.Annotations.dll' assembly is produced. If you need to preserve these attributes in metadata, just define 'JETBRAINS_ANNOTATIONS' conditional compilation symbol in your projects.

log4net is a tool to help the programmer output log statements to a variety of output targets. In case of problems with an application, it is helpful to enable logging so that the problem can be located. With log4net it is possible to enable logging at runtime without modifying the application binary. The log4net package is designed so that log statements can remain in shipped code without incurring a high performance cost. It follows that the speed of logging (or rather not logging) is crucial. At the same time, log output can be so voluminous that it quickly becomes overwhelming. One of the distinctive features of log4net is the notion of hierarchical loggers.
